Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Greg Rikaart Opens Up About Juggling Two Soaps At Once

Days of Our Lives star Greg Rikaart sure has a very busy schedule. Not only has he reprised his role as Leo Stark on the hit NBC soap, but he’s also spent the last several months playing Kevin Fisher on The Young and the Restless. And because of that, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder how he’s juggling his two soaps at once. Here’s what he has to say.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Greg admitted that he’s now got some time on his hands to focus on the drama in Salem rather than Genoa City.  “For better or for worse, I’m not particularly heavily utilized at Y&R at the moment,” points out the actor. “So there haven’t been any challenges there, which is great. I started back at DAYS in October, shortly after the Peacock stuff wrapped.”

That said, Greg also hinted that there’s a new love interest ahead for Leo Start. “I found out that I was coming back to be the love interest of a character who had been there,” he shares. “That relationship would, of course, have ramifications for other characters on the show, who are not at all pleased about Leo’s return and also his involvement with that character. There become multiple efforts from many different people to try and sabotage that relationship, much to Leo’s chagrin.”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For Leo?

Now, as far as those wondering how long Leo will be causing mayhem this time around, he previewed, “I’m still there,” he reveals, “although I think I’m in a different arc now. I’m there indefinitely. I’m having more fun now than ever.”

In other words, Leo and his colorful personality (and his wardrobe) are going to be causing havoc for some time to come! Watch this space.
