The Young and the Restless spoilers say that fans are quite excited about meeting the new possible Abbott that is about to make her debut in this fictional town of Genoa City. Of course, we are talking about newcomer Kelsy Wang, who is joining the hit CBS soap as a new character by the name of Allie. Not much is known about her now, but we do know that she has a story to tell. Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Kelsey opened up about joining the show. She said, “There’s so much that I respect about this world and I’m so happy to be a part of it. Watching The Young and the Restless is how I found my love for acting. It just seemed like the coolest dream job ever.”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for The Young and the Restless fans to weigh in on Kelsey joining the show and of course, speculating what might be in store for her character. Many took to social media to comment with, “This storyline is gold for YR and welcome the newest Abbott woman! HOT DAMN! Welcome, Kelsey Wang who I am sure will turn out to be Jack Abbott’s granddaughter!” along with, ‘Looking forward to her joining the show. But I have my fingers crossed that TPTB don’t screw up. She needs to be Noah’s love interest. That way he can stop drooling over Tessa. The negative for me is that they will use this to bring Jack and Phyllis together. But the positive is Y&R is getting some much needed young blood on the show.”
Another fan wrote, “She will be perfect as Jack’s granddaughter and maybe new love interest for Noah Newman. Now Jack finally told both Phyllis and his sister Traci today, That’s means Jack will be in LA will get some answers. But i do hope she is Keemo’s daughter. I would like the show to address why Keemo is estranged from Jack because if memory serves he left town in good spirits with Jack. So to bring his daughter, if she is, Keemo should return sooner rather than later.”
