General Hospital Spoilers: All About Dante And Sam’s Rollercoaster Of A Relationship

General Hospital spoilers say that when it comes to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dom Zamprogna), there’s no denying that there’s a “contrarian dynamic” between them. Or at least that’s what actor Dom Zamprogna believes! Here’s what she has to say about Dante and Sam’s rollercoaster of a relationship.

Speaking to TV Insider in a new interview, Dom opened up about the feedback that he’s been getting about the Dante and Sam pairing. He told the site, “I know it’s a bit of a challenge for fans to see [new pairings]. But I think we might be winning some of them over. Fans fell hard for Dante and Lulu. I imagine it’s an even more intense experience for “JaSam” fans. I know it’s a challenge. It’s new. In real life, people might say they don’t like someone who is dating a friend of theirs but that’s because of how their friend is being treated.”

That said, if there’s anything that General Hospital fans have learned over the years, it’s that no good feeling lasts forever. After all, Dante was head over heels in love with his wife Lulu before everything went bust. Now that he’s with Sam, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder how long this good feeling will last. Dom explained, “Kelly and I were talking about Sam and Dante. I love that it’s not what Dante and Lulu were. You’ve got a contrarian dynamic between Sam and Dante. He’s a cop. She’s an ex-con/private eye. This is new territory for both of them. It’s making some interesting stuff to play. We didn’t rush the “I love yous” with each other. They came out over time. I think more and more people are wanting to see where they could go.”

General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Dante And Sam?

Many General Hospital fans have commented on Dante and Sam’s pairing with, “Love them together.  They both have matured and been through some stuff separately and together and the dynamic of the relationship at this point in their lives is something different than with their first loves,” along with, “Dante and Sam have great chemistry always have! Ignore the the noise! GH if they’re smart will continue this pair. So much to mine with them and Dom and Kelly are great actors who can pull it off.”
