The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has a new mystery on his hands but unlike the ones from the past, this one might not be so easy to solve. While having a meeting with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Jack receives another anonymous text that urges him not to dismiss any of the messages that he’s been getting. When Traci asks him what’s going on, Jack tells his sister that the messages are nothing to worry about, even though they clearly are. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, The Young and the Restless executive producer and head writer Josh Griffith put it this way, “Jack is rather annoyed by these mysterious texts. At first, he thinks it’s nothing more than someone playing games with him.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Jack tells Phyllis what’s going on and she immediately suggests to him that they take action. After all, if there’s one person who won’t tolerate such nonsense, it’s most definitely Phyllis Summers. That, and her suspicious nature will soon rub off on Jack, too. It won’t take much time for phyllis to later report to Jack that she got a lead on the sender of the texts.
Griffith continues, “Jack accepts Phyllis’s offer to do some sleuthing. Jack knows that Phyllis loves a challenge and accepts her offer to do some digging. This information does not mean much to Phyllis, but Jack is quickly able to connect the dots that the person sending the texts shares a major connection to his past. This sends Jack and Phyllis on a journey filled with surprises they never imagined.”
In other words, it sounds like Jack’s past is about to catch up with his present in a way that he otherwise wouldn’t have expected. Of course, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next! I think that it could be another grandchild. He could've been married in the past and had a CHILD with a person, and now that child has a child of his or her own. So that's who could be texting him.
I loved yesterday with Jack and Victor talking and being real with each other in a nice way. And today's episode, I hope Victor and Adam make amends with each other. I love Adam being the nice Adam and I would really like to see Victoria put in her place.
