The Young and the Restless Spoilers: When Will Victoria Realize That Ashland Is Lying To Her?

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if there’s one person who has been unlucky in love in this fictional town of Genoa City, you better believe that it’s Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). And while she’s certainly been head over heels in love with her husband Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) these last few months, it looks like her world is about to come crashing down when she finds out that her husband has been faking his cancer illness this entire time. The Young and the Restless Spoilers: When Will Victoria Realize That Ashland Is Lying To Her?

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Amelia Heinle, who plays Victoria Newman on the hit CBS soap, says that her character is still trying to adjust to sharing the power at Newman Locke. However, she’s been in the dark about Victor trying to investigate Ashland’s improved health status. Amelia puts it this way, “She would never suspect that Ashland’s health issues are not legit. After the reveal about his past, Victoria thinks there’s no way that Ashland would deceive her again.”

That said, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victor wants to expose Ashland’s lies, but at the same time he doesn’t want to embarrass his daughter. The actress says that the only way that will happen is if Ashland confesses the truth to his wife. That, and if he leaves Genoa City as quickly and as quietly as possible.

Amelia continues, “But Ashland will play with fire and take one more shot at maintaining Victoria’s trust, leading to a confrontation that may fracture Victor and Victoria’s relationship forever.”
