The Bold and the Beautiful star Denise Richards is celebrating her birthday today! The actress turns 51. As many fans know by now, in addition to her work on The Bold and the Beautiful, Denise is also one of the best known Hollywood stars, television personalities and is also a former model. Here’s what you need to know about her!
Before she began her daytime television career on The Bold and the Beautiful, Denise had actually auditioned for the role of Carrie on Days of Our Lives. Some of her best roles were in the films Wild Things, Drop Dead Gorgeous, the James Bond flick The World is Not Enough, and Love Actually and Scary Movie 3. Denise was married to Charlie sheen from 2002 until 2006 and has not been married to her second husband Aaron Phyphers since 2008. She’s also the proud mother of her three daughters: Sam, Lola, and Eloise.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in an interview back in May of last year, the blonde beauty says that she often employs one technique which involves a stare like no other, then a look-away before focusing on eye contact with her co-stars.
“Stare where you are looking, then look away, think about, like, ‘I want a turkey sandwich,’ and then look back!” Denise said after a clip was shown of one of her stare-down moves.
As many B&B fans know, Denise has been on the show since 2019. Her character, Shauna, is a single mom from Las Vegas who is looking for a better life for herself in Los Angeles alongside her daughter Flo Futlon (Katrina Bowden). And while the two of them look innocent enough, they’ve been causing a lot of trouble for the Forrester, Logan, and Spencer families in this fictional town of Los Angeles.
