The Young and the Restless Poll: Should Victor Newman Back Off From Adam And Sally?

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if there’s anything we’ve learned about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), it’s that he always manages to get things done his way, regardless if it’s in his personal life or his professional life. However, things might be a little different for him now as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has made it pretty clear that he wants to move on to the next level with his new girlfriend, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Or at least on a new level in the bedroom. That said, it seems like there’s not much Victor can do about it, which has prompted a lot of fans to ask: should Victor back off from Adam and Sally? Here’s what you need to know.

It’s clear as day that Victor doesn’t approve of Adam getting close to Sally. But then again, has there been any woman that the Newman patriarch has approved of for his prodigal son? The answer is probably no, which is why a lot of fans and viewers think it’s time for Victor to let go of his control over his adult children. 

Needless to say, many The Young and the Restless fans have opened up about the matter on social media. Some have commented with, “I hope we get to see Adam truly romance Sally. Maybe on a bed and not always couch sex at the office. I would love to see real emotional sweet romance in a soap again. Especially for Sally who has never had that,” along with, “Victor’s meddling will bring Adam and Sally closer.   Luv that Adam did not want to keep his relationship with Sally a secret. When it comes to his dad I need Adam to grow a pair. Adam is a grown man with a child of his own, he’s entitled to get some “strange”. I don’t recall anyone telling Victor to stop. We ALL know that Papa Victor was a rolling stone back in the day!”

And then there was this comment, “Victor never approves of Adam’s ladies. He wants Adam all to himself. I hope Adam tells him off. He and Sally are amazing together and both deserve happiness.”
