Well, these CBS The Young and the Restless writers have gone and done it again. They have flipped us like a pancake and Devon Hamilton ( Bryton James ) whom everybody loves is now on our “We do not like you anymore list.” At least that is how it is for many of us Y&R fans judging by all the comments. Maybe the writers are hearing all the negative fallout about Devon and his (daddy-daycare) situation and are having second thoughts. This could be the reason for the latest (Y&R Spoilers) TEASE-ZATION…
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has gone from referring to the Chancellor baby as Dominic (River and Rainn Ware). Dominic is the name his mother Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) has given him. But Devon has chosen to give Dominic a new name.
He has named him, “My son” and he calls baby Dominic that when Abby is not around. ( SMH.) That is so ratchet and so shady. But, according to The Young and Restless (Y&R Spoilers) things will not go well for Devon who is the passive aggressive bully, and undercover daddy.
The Y&R spoilers are taking it to the streets, and the streets are TALKING. They tease that a major plot twist is going to happen. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is a DONOR and not a DADDY. While Devon has gotten his Dees all twisted, the Y&R spoilers predict needed blood tests for Baby Dominic (River and Rainn Ware) are coming. Devon might not even be a donor much less a daddy once the results are in because we all know, blood tests results are accurate. They do not get it twisted.
The Y&R spoilers reveal that things will right themselves as far as the custody situation is concerned. Very shortly Abby Chancellor and Devon Hamilton (Melissa Ordway and Bryton James) will learn Devon is not the donor/daddy. Abby will have the ball back in her court and the power will be hers. She can finally kick the ridiculous custody “request” Devon made to the curb, and him too if need be.
Y&R spoilers suggest some sort of lab mix-up is the cause of the heartbreak that will come for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and the relief that will come for Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). And then there is Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), and Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) How will this bombshell affect them? Clearly Amanda was starting to get attached to Baby Dominic (River and Rainn Ware). Maybe Amanda will get the “I want a baby bug.” As for Chance, in a sense, he seemed happy to have the weight of fatherhood bonding removed from his shoulders, for now. Maybe he will have a change of heart.
Y&R spoilers are saying Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is not the donor. So, who is? Could it be Dr. Ben Stitch Rayburn (Sean Carrigan)? I mean who else is there? I do not believe I am asking that question because we know how these writers pull people and plot twists out of the “writer cloud” to keep the drama going. Dr. Stitch has access to all things medical. He could have made a switch. For those who can remember, the good doctor knew a lot about switching. When Stitch was living in Genoa City he switched from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to (the then) Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), and from Abby to her mom Ashley Abbott ( Eileen Davidson). In my head I changed his name from Stitch to “Switch” way back then. Was I being prophetic? Only time, and the fickleness of the writers, and of course the Y&R Spoilers will tell.
