The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say for all of those fans who have been wondering why Krista Allen (Taylor Hayes) has been wearing a wig this entire time, we’ve got the answer for you. The actress says that she’s excited to finally take it off and show off the beautiful locks that she’s had well hidden in front of the cameras this entire time. Here’s why.
Krista says that she wore a wig not because she wanted to, but because she had to. However, she’s happy to finally take it off. “I have been waiting for this day since I aired on Dec. 10,” the actress tweeted. “Thank you to every single one of you that complained in outrage! We did it!”
The reason why Krista had to wear her wig is because it better fit her character’s appearance. “Right when I got cast for this part, my hair was a short, blonde pixie,” she explained during a live chat with the soap’s supervising producer, Casey Casprzyk. “It’s been growing, but it was blonde, and I started working within a week. So, we didn’t have time. I had to take my hair back from blonde to dark brown. So, we needed a little bit of time.”
If that weren’t enough, Krista also opened up about her character’s development and how fans can expect her to continue to change in the coming weeks and months ahead. She said, “At the beginning, there was a much sweeter—you know, she’s grown; she’s very sweet, but she’s grown, she’s lived a life, she’s had a lot of things happen, and she’s a lot more cautious now.”

It's about time!!! I love Taylor's real hair. That wig was so fake!!! I could tell the minute I saw it. If she had to wear one you could have gotten one that looked real. I love the new actor but I hated seeing her with that awful wig. Thank you for letting her be herself, she is so beautiful in her real hair, even if she had to color it, I love seeing her now playing her part, which she does so very, very well. Good choice for an actor to be Taylor ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
