The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is going to have a hard time trying to keep his thoughts to himself while clenching his teeth each and every time his sister Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) bosses him around at Newman Media. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Co-Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith previewed what’s next for some of our favorite residents in Genoa City. When asked about Victoria, Adam and Sally, he said, “Victoria’s acquisition of Newman Media results in a game of musical chairs with Victoria becoming Adam’s boss. Victoria and Ashland could push Adam too far and lead him to rethink his recent change of attitude. He might then engage in a dangerous power struggle with the couple. Lucky for Adam, Sally proves a much-needed distraction from the sibling rivalry.”

In other words, things are going to be heating up between Sally and Adam! Similarly, there’s also going to be plenty of drama ahead for Victoria, her husband Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and her parents, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). It seems like Victoria is going to have a difficult time trying to balance things out between her family and her marriage, for better or for worse.

Griffith said, “Victor’s suspicions about Ashland’s condition will result in Victor charging Michael to find the truth at all costs. This causes a conflict of interest for Nikki, who worries Victoria’s rift with her family might be reignited if she learns of Victor’s investigation.”
