The Young and the Restless spoilers say that it’s difficult enough for two people to raise a child on their own, let alone three. In fact, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is going to find herself pulling her hair out over her custody agreement with sperm donor and step-in parent, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Co-Executive Producer/Head Writer Josh Griffith shares what’s happening in Genoa City. He says that things are going to get pretty tricky between Abby, Devon, Chance and Amanda. He said, “Devon and Abby’s new parenting arrangement is challenged when Dominic experiences a medical issue. Amanda will once again prove herself as a supportive partner when she jumps in to problem-solve. Chance will find himself still struggling to move forward as a result of his PTSD.”
Meanwhile, there’s also going to be some ups and downs between Mariah and Tessa, and especially as they plan the next chapter in their lives together. However, they are going to find it quite difficult moving forward knowing that Noah still has feelings for Tessa. Griffith previewed, “Newly engaged Mariah and Tessa work together to start planning their wedding as they face the pressure to create the perfect day for themselves and their guests. Nick and Sharon grow concerned when they see Noah taking a walk on the wild side as he copes with his feelings for Tessa.”
Elsewhere, Nate and Elena are also going to be dealing with some changes. “While Nate and Elena experience domestic bliss living together, Nate is still adjusting to a professional life that does not include being a surgeon,” the scribe offered.

Noah can only spoil things for Tessa and Mariah if Tessa has unresolved feelings for Noah. I think she does, but won’t admit to them. I never felt Tessa was all in when it came to Mariah.
Her feelings may be real, but she loved Noah first, and It seemed to me, Tessa was following a whim which just snowballed. if T and M were to break up over Noah, someone would have to leave town.
