The Young and the Restless spoilers say that while Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) intentions in wanting to be more involved in Dominic’s life are of the pure kind, he might be triggering Chance Chancellor’s (Connor Floyd) PTSD and making it worse. Of course, he’s not doing this intentionally, but Chance is having a hard time shrugging off the feeling that he’s letting down his family the same way that he let down his fellow soldiers while he was overseas. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Devon has finally gotten what he wanted, and that’s more unsupervised time with baby Dominic. But needless to say, both Chance and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) are having a hard time with this, especially since it’s their first night without baby Dominic under their roof. Devon assures everyone that the tot will be fine, but that’s not enough for Abby to spend the entire night worried about her son.
That said, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that this isn’t an ideal situation for Chance. He’s still dealing with his trauma and his PTSD and now he feels like a failure for not being a good enough dad for Dominic. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that while Abby is trying to be there for her husband, it may not be enough. She doesn’t completely understand what happened while he was gone and this whole situation with Devon and Dominic is making things worse on him. Chance doesn’t want to feel like he’s disappointing those that he cares about the most over and over again.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if Devon continues to push for more access to Baby Dominic, this might become a breaking point in Abby and Chance’s marriage. That’s because Abby will have a tough time trying to give Chance what he needs while also trying to figure out this unconventional arrangement between Devon and themselves.
