General Hospital spoilers say that after Luke’s memorial service, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) makes a beeline for his estranged wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). He wants her to come home so they can work on their marriage but unfortunately, Carly wants nothing to do with him. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Carly is still having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that Sonny cheated on her with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Waitros). Actually, make that Sonny as Mike, as he clearly wasn’t in the right state of mind. She also doesn’t like the fact that Sonny has been so secretive about the whole ordeal, making Carly feel even worse than she already does.
Speaking to the publication in a new interview, Laura Wright, who plays Carly on the hit ABC soap, puts it this way, “He’s not giving her time to breathe, to wrap her mind around what happened. Her heart aches. She loves this man. But she tells him, ‘I can’t watch you mend a broken heart for someone else. I can’t lay in bed next to you while you are wanting to be with another woman. I can’t watch you get over somebody else!”
However, General Hospital spoilers say that Carly doesn’t believe that her marriage to Sonny is completely over. She just needs some time to process what happened and figure out how she and Sonny are going to move forward from all of this. In other words, she needs some time.
Laura continued, “She’s just saying, ‘I need some time. My heart is broken and I’ve been absolutely humiliated and I feel stupid and I jsut need some time, that’s it. Sonny is saying, ‘I love you, come home, it’s only you,’ but when she says, ‘Okay, stop everything with Nina, he can’t. So, she has a lot of things going on in her mind right now, and she needs this time apart.”

THE WHOLE NINA BIT IS STUPID End this storyline and put our couples back together; this includes JaSam.
Carly is being her normal childish, selfish self and only considering how she feels and not really taking a realistic view at all concerned as far as the NF situation is concerned. Apples for apples, she had and still has feelings for Jason which Sonny overlooks, so why can't he have feelings for Nina that could be overlooked as far as she is concerned. The whole continuing story line of her hate is going much too far. Writers need to either break them up or put the pieces back together.
I don’t think it’s even occurred to Carly that Sonny suffered a severe brain trauma, resulting in his amnesia. She needs to get over herself and help Sonny, especially since he’s off his meds and drinking so much.
Y'all have some very dark writers! As viewers we need something pleasant and good to take place. We're not seeing any of that. This crap is getting old!!
