Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Nancy (Patriko Darbo) is back in Salem but unfortunately for her daughter Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), she’s brought a huge luggage full of drama with her. That’s because she will reveal to her daughter that her husband Craig (Kevin Spirtas) has been cheating on her and that the state of their marriage is in despair. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Nancy resurfaces in Salem and tells Chloe and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) that her husband Craig has been having an affair. Clearly, she’s hurt and she’s looking for some support from her daughter as she simply doesn’t know what to do next in her marriage or even her life for that matter.
Speaking to the publication in a new interview, Patrika Darbo, who plays Nancy on the hit NBC soap, puts it this way, “She’s hurt, frantic and upset. Craig and Nancy have been married for 35 years at least. And what everybody knows is that they have always been happily married.”
Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Nancy has come to the conclusion that her husband has been cheating on her, even though she really doesn’t have any concrete evidence. Patrika, however, says that her character can’t help but wonder what she did to deserve such treatment. “I think she’s looking for people to assure her that she’s wrong.”
Yet, Chloe and Brady caution Nancy not to jump to any conclusions. Patrika explains, “Chloe’s saying, ‘Come on, Mom. You need to talk to Dad. Don’t run away from the situation. She encourages Nancy to sit down and talk about what is going on with Craig.”
At the same time though, Chloe leaves a message for her father and soon enough, he surprises both of them by coming to Salem. Patrika says, “Nancy needs to be reassured. Because Craig just doesn’t seem like the warm, loving husband she remembers and has always known.”
