The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that she might now be gone, but she certainly won’t ever be forgotten. There’s a new report that says Betty White, who died on New Year’s Eve and just a few weeks before her 100th birthday, will have a special episode dedicated to her on what would have been her special milestone day. Here’s what you need to know.
According to reports, The Bold and the Beautiful will dedicate the January 17th episode to her. That day would have been the television legend’s 100th birthday. On the day that White’s death was announced, The Bold and the Beautiful shared a throwback photo of Betty White on the set of the hit CBS soap and captioned their post with, “Our deepest sympathies to the family and loved ones of #BettyWhite who graced us with her joyful presence and remarkable talent as Ann Douglas. Betty was as Bold and Beautiful as they come and she will be greatly missed.”
As many fans already know, White was best known for her iconic sitcom roles on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “The Golden Girls,” but she also played Ann Douglas in the mid-2000’s on The Bold and the Beautiful. Ann was the mother of Stephanie and Pamela Douglas. White played the character for 23 episodes until Ann’s death.
What’s more, Betty White’s co-stars in “The Proposal,” Ryan Reynolds, also paid tribute to the iconic star. “The world looks different now,” tweeted Reynolds. “She was great at defying expectation. She managed to grow very old and somehow, not old enough. We’ll miss you, Betty. Now you know the secret.”
It goes without saying that fans surely miss having Betty White around, but at least they also have her memory and her great appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful to look back on fondly. Do you agree?
