The Young and the Restless spoilers say that for the week beginning Monday, January 10th, there’s certainly going to be a lot of drama in this fictional town of Genoa City. And while it seems like everyone is trying to take a step forward in their lives, there are going to be some people who are going to take a few steps back to their past, especially when it comes to how their hearts feel about the loves of their lives. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) has every reason to worry about her husband, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). She’s worried that his PTSD might be getting worse, as he feels guilty over surviving his secret mission while he was gone. Abby is worried that her husband’s mental health might get worse before it gets better and that won’t be good for their family.
Meanwhile, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will give Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) a surprise visit. Clearly, things aren’t working out the way they are supposed to between her and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). If there’s anything that we’ve learned about Sharon over the years, it’s that she always bounces back to one of her exes when things go wrong in her most current relationship. Speaking of exes, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is going to give Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) an invitation that he won’t be able to refuse. Later on in the week, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will catch wind of this, forcing her to push Sally’s buttons in retaliation.
Elsewhere, Lily Winters (Christhel Khalil) is going to continue to stand her ground when it comes to Ashland Locke (Richard Bulgi). Over at the Newman ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is going to try and navigate a new family feud. And by the end of the week, Abby is going to give Chelsea some very upsetting news.
