The Young and the Restless spoilers say that for the longest time Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) could not decide on whether or not he could retire simply because he hasn’t felt comfortable enough to leave both Newman Enterprises and his legacy to one of his three older children. Well now it seems like Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is ready to make her mark as she is about to make a bid on Newman Media. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victoria is none too pleased when she finds out that her ex Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has called off his plot to bring down her wayward brother Adam Newman. That’s why she’s now taking matters into her own hands, for better or for worse.
Amelia Heinle, who plays Victoria on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way to Soap Opera Digest in an interview, “Billy comes to Victoria and says, ‘I changed my mind, I don’t want to go this route. Now she’s pissed because she really wanted to get her hands on Newman Media. She was even willing to be part of Billy’s plan to make it happen. Now it’s out of the window. But she still wants Newman Media.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers also tease that Victor will get involved in this and tell his daughter that it seems like she’s more interested in protecting Billy than she is her family’s business. Of course, Victoria disagrees with it, but it’s still obvious that she has some sort of interest with her ex.
Amelia adds, “She tells her dad that she’s already proven a long time ago that Billy can’t manipulate her. She lets Victor know she wants to consolidate ChancComm and Newman Media under Newman/Locke.”
Believe it or not, it sounds like Victor isn’t totally against the idea. The actress continued, “She’s surprised that he likes the plan, but she’s also aware that Victor could be up to something. Whether or not it’ll be to her benefit remains to be seen.”

Why can't Victoria let Adam have Newman Media? Why is she so greedy? Besides, Adam helped save Gaines from crashing her wedding! Why would their father Victor go along with her plan? Maybe just to see how his kids fight it out? Steer away from this storyline.
