The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that even though Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is someone who has enough problems to deal with in her own life, she’s now seriously worried about the life of her mother, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). That’s because she feels somewhat responsible for her mother’s alcoholic relapse and is now worried about her well-being. Here’s what you need to know.

After Brooke took a sip of champagne that actually had alcohol in it – thanks to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and her mischievous swap on New Year’s Eve – Hope is on pins and needles, as she’s worried that her mother might end up going down a rabbit hole with her alcoholism again.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, actress Annika Noelle, who plays Hope on the hit CBS soap hinted that things are going to get worse before they get better for her mother. She said, “Oftentimes when someone is grappling to understand the complexities of addiction, there can be a lot of misplaced blame. People try to make sense of it and understand the why of the situation when there may not be one.”

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that because of Brooke’s sorry state, Hope can’t help but feel guilty about bringing back Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) into their lives. It absolutely pains Hope to see Brooke in distress and now she thinks it might be all of her fault for bringing her father back into the fold.

Annika further explains, “Hope feels like she’s been so focused on her budding relationship with her father that she missed the signs that her mother was on dangerous ground with her sobriety. She may not know what exactly happened but you can’t have her leave her father and mother alone on New Year’s Eve and not be somewhat suspicious. Especially after her mother’s relapse and complete 180 attitude towards Deacon.”
