The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) wants to spend more time with baby Dominic, but it looks like Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) are not about to let that happen. In fact, this is going to turn into a face off between Devon and Abby, with little baby Dominic in the middle. Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Bryton James, who plays Devon on the hit CBS soap, says he doesn’t want to get into the logistics of shared custody, but simply wants to spend more unsupervised visits with the tot. After all, he feels a strong bond with the little boy and wants to be there for him in a way that his own biological father was never there for him.
Bryton puts it this way, “He was simply asking if he and Abby can make a new schedule and plan a couple of hours a week for him to have one-on-one time with Dominic. Even though Amanda is advising him, Devon doesn’t want to get lawyers officially involved. He just wants a verbal agreement that he can see Dominic from this time to that time.”
However, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Devon ends up having a disastrous encounter at the coffee house with Abby over when he can see Dominic. Abby thinks that Devon is overstepping. Bryton continued, “She then questions where Devon’s request is coming from, and that he may think that she and Chance are bad parents or something like that. Abby just flat out refuses to even consider changing the terms at all.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers also trase that while Abby does acknowledge how much Devon loves the little boy, she and Chance have agreed not to make any changes to their visitation agreement. That’s because Dominic already has a home – with his mother and father. This definitely gives Devon a reason to assess his options.

I think it’s ridiculous that Devon is even trying to get specified visitation, if he cares so much about “Dom” he wouldn’t want to confuse him by having 2 Daddy’s , why can’t we just let Abby and Chance enjoy “their” baby.. come on writers, be more compassionate
And another note, do something with Billy Boy's character .. what he doing is just stupid, he needs to grow up!
