The Young and the Restless spoilers say that while they certainly come from two very different backgrounds, one could say that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are alike in more ways than one. They are both goal-oriented, beautiful women who are relentless when it comes to getting the things they want. And right now, the one thing that is on their minds is Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Chelsea and Sally will run into each other at the coffeehouse, where they will make plans to brainstorm with Adam till late on New year’s Eve. 

Speaking to the publication in a new interview, The Young and the Restless Co-Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith puts it this way, “They are both smart, creative and ambitious women who are both driven by success. There would be much more of a personal and professional collaboration between them if Adam wasn’t in the picture.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sally will start pitching new ideas for Newman Fashion, but Chelsea will shoot each idea down, and perhaps in spite, too. Griffith continues, ‘Chelsea discarding Sally’s ideas is her way of putting Sally in her place. Sally is able to sense this, which only causes her to push back harder.”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Chelsea And Sally?

Just as things reach fever pitch, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) comes in and saves the day, thankfully. But this doesn’t stop Chelsea from stomping out of the room. Griffith says, “Chloe will have her work cut out for her as she tries to keep the peace between Chelsea and Sally. Sparks will fly as the turf war at Newman Fashion and over Adam’s attention escalates between the two women.” Watch this space.
