The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if there’s anything that we’ve learned about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) over the years, it’s that you don’t mess with his money, his business, and most importantly, his family. There’s new speculation that Victor might finally put Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) in his place, and not just because he’s been somewhat of a menace since his arrival in Genoa City, but because he’s about to break Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) heart. While it’s true that Victor could do without a person like Ashland – especially with all the lies that he’s told in the past – he begrudgingly put their differences aside just because Victoria seems to be so happy with her new husband. And from the looks of it, Ashland is also playing the part of a dotting husband to Victor’s daughter, despite the fact that he wasn’t exactly welcomed to the Newman family to begin with. Either way, Victor has kept his distance and has done everything he can to not disturb his daughter’s marriage or the peace between him and Ashland, even if it’s only temporary.
However, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) – who is yet to warm up to Ashland – will soon discover that his brother-in-law is in fact keeping secrets from Victoria. And we are not just talking about a little secret, but a whopper of a lie. It turns out that Ashland was really never sick to begin with and that he’s been playing a game all along just so he can gain access to Newman Enterprises.
The Young and the Restless spoilers also say that once Victor will catch wind of the truth, Ashland will be done. It’s one thing to go after his daughter, but for Ashland to go after his company and his legacy is something he simply won’t tolerate. To put it lightly, there’s going to be trouble.

I knew from the jump Ashland was never sick and he wanted Victor’s company.I can’t stand him .watch out Ashland no way Victor going to let that pass.
It’s about time Y&R got on with the show! Never would I have felt it was time to stop watching Y&R but lately it’s been nothing! The minute Locke said he was sick we knew he wasn’t. The whole story was way to long and drawn out! I have ALWAYS watched and loved Y&R but something is happening and the writers need to go back to the way it has always been. I love Victor. He is a wonderful actor and he and my husband of 57 years are the same age!
