The Young and the Restless spoilers say that this is certainly an awkward situation to be in. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) seems to be putting Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) in an uncomfortable position by wanting to spend more time with their son, Dominic. Not only that, but it sounds like he may also be wanting shared custody of the kid, too. Here’s what you need to know.
While there’s no doubt that Devon feels a special connection to Dominic – as he was there to deliver the tot – it seems like he’s also grown attached to the young boy that he fathered and refuses to step back.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Abby and Chase are taken aback when Devon suggests a custody agreement between the three of them. “It sounds like you’re asking for shared custody,” Abby says. Devon nods and admits, “Practically speaking? Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about.”
If that weren’t enough, it also looks like Devon is trying to step into Chance’s shoes. Bryton James, who plays Devon, tells Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “The few times he’s been around Chance and the baby, Devon has noticed that Chance seems to be uncomfortable in the role of being a father and he’s still trying to find his footing. Also, Chance has told Devon that he’s having issues coping with being back home and the pressure of becoming an attentive father.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Devon will push for more unsupervised visits where Dominic can stay with him overnight. While you’d think that it would be Chance who would be thrown off by the request, it’s Abby who believes Devon needs to step back a little. Now whether or not that happens remains to be seen.

Devon is worse than Mariah was. He thinks that he a legal right to. The baby because he is the diner. I think that Abby and Chance should tell him to back off, because he severed his ties to the baby. He is only his God father.
why don't devon have his own baby???? he told abby he would like to use his sperm for her baby. I wished abby would of thought about it. just because chance is having a hard time don't mean he can step into his shoes. he makes me sick, devon. he is not the daddy, so leave Dominic alone. you and amanda have your own baby.
