The Young and the Restless spoilers say that with three young and able-bodied adult children, you’d think Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) would ride off into the sunset and enjoy his retirement already, but that hasn’t been the case at all. In fact, Victor is now more worried about his future and the future of Newman Enterprises more than ever before. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, The Young and the Restless Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith previews what’s in store for the Newman family in 2022. And from what we can tell already, there are plenty of twists and turns ahead, and not all of them are good ones. Sure, the Newmans have Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), but it seems like Victor still can’t count on any of them when it comes to what matters the most for him.
When it comes to Victor and his wife Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas), Griffith says, “Victor will go to great lengths to protect his legacy as alliances shift that may change the landscape of Newman Enterprises and the newly formed Newman Media. Victor will reach out to someone from his past as he works to stay one step ahead and gather intel about his adversaries. Nikki will share her concerns when she notices a change in both Nick and Victoria, thanks to the shifting dynamics of the Newman family.”
Now, as far as their daughter Victoria Newman and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) are concerned, Griffith further explains, “For Ashland Locke, the New Year means new secrets when it’s revealed that he may not have been entirely honest with Victoria when he had the chance before their wedding.”
In other words, there are going to be fireworks, and not the New Year’s kind, either. Fans will have to tune in for all of the action!
