Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Marlena’s Devilish Streak Finally Comes To An End – But Will She Be Saved?

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) devilish ways are finally coming to an end. Or at least, that’s what everyone is hoping for in this fictional town of Salem. Marlena’s family will stage an exorcism in the hopes that they can rid her from the devil that has been wreaking havoc on her mind and her body. Days of Our Lives head writer Ron Carlivati knows that this has been one of the most anticipated moments of this storyline and that’s why he wanted to get it right. Carlivati says that he has done plenty of research to make sure that he’s got all his facts right when it comes to exorcisms. He also said that he went back to YouTube to check out old clips of Marlena’s first encounter with the devil in older episodes of Days of Our Lives. 

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Marlena’s entire family will gather around the Black home with the goal of bringing Marlena back, once and for all. Carlivati said, “That was out goal, to have her loved ones and kids and grandkids there – it takes a village to exorcise the demon! It is about them all coming together. We wanted there to be some surprises, and of course, it’s not a sure thing that it’s going to work out.”

Carlivati added that DOOL fans should expect some fireworks before all is said and done. He added, “The last time, Marlena died during the exorcism so there really are life and death consequences here. But that said, it is Christmas. So not to give away too much, but even if it ends well, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t still have far reaching consequences in the aftermath.”
