The Young and the Restless spoilers say that while Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman) certainly does love his job, he also loves all the people that he gets to work with, including his two former on-screen daughters, Alyvia Alyn Lind (ex-Faith) and Hunter King (ex-Summer). For Nick, it’s been rather hard not seeing these two wonderful talents on the set each day as he thoroughly enjoyed working with them. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Joshua had nothing but positive things to say about the two actresses. He also said that Alyvia and Hunter are the true loves of his life! He put it this way, “I would like down on railroad tracks if they asked me to. In a span of three weeks, I lost Aly and Hunter, and it was very, very tough for me to watch them go. Those two girls mean everything to me, so I have to admit I was really sad.”
The good news is that Joshua now gets to work with a new young actress that is equally as talented as Hunter and Aly: the new Faith Newman on the show, Reylynn Caster. Joshua makes it no secret that she has been a worthy addition to The Young and the Restless family.
He explained, “Rey-Rey is great. She’s a very talented girl and finding her footing more every day. And she’s super believable. I love how certain actors and actresses have this innate truthfulness to what they are saying and it doesn’t feel like I’m watching someone act. Rey-Rey is really natural in that way and I believe that she has a huge career ahead of her.”
With that said, there is no doubt in our minds that Joshua is a very lucky man to be working with so many great actresses on the show! Don’t you think? We wouldn’t call it a loss, but a great addition instead.
