Along with Connor, there is another guy that Chelsea has strong feelings for. Different than her maternal connection, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) represents the elusive bad boy who Chelsea has not been able to fix.

But Adam’s personality quirks may not be Chelsea’s greatest obstacle. There is no clear path back to Chadam because Ally is a separate track couple’s option.

Chelsea and Adam have been married twice before. Their early to mid-2010s marriages did not last.

However, Chelsea had a unique influence on Adam. She was a conniver, just like him. One semi-reformed con artist bonding with another. They were a fit until Adam wrecked Chadam on more than one occasion.

Last year’s attempted revival failed because Adam went kooky, which led to Chelsea’s abduction. That nutty outcome resulted in her stroke, which subsequently caused her to be paralyzed, lose her speech, and then be driven mad by Adam’s pressured recovery plan.

Adam is in his glory right now. True, he does not have Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) involving herself in his life. But he does have two dynamic ladies who are fully taken with him.

Chelsea’s rival is not named Sharon. Instead, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is a real threat.

Like Chelsea, she is super-smart, creative, driven, and gorgeous. Adam has seemingly convinced himself, as has Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), that Chelsea and Sally can co-exist at Newman Media.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – What Happens If ALLY Forms?

Ally is a clear possibility. The chance that Adam and Sally couple feels more likely than a Chadam re-pairing because of Chelsea’s break in trust.

Adam deeply values loyalty even though he hardly earns high marks in that category. Like his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Adam generally demands more from his love interests than he gives.

Adam’s outlook has been partially shaped by Chelsea and others enabling his ego through the years. That appears to be happening again unless Egan’s character changes course.

Sally’s insertion into the daytime mix makes for a compelling triangle. Ally, Chadam, or neither are all possible.
