General Hospital spoilers say that there certainly have been a lot of different reactions to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) storyline, in which they had to say good-bye to their son Liam in one of the most heartbreaking scenes that fans have seen in a very long time. While there’s no doubt that it has certainly stirred a lot of emotions, actress Sofia Mattsoon has thanked her fans for showing their support along the way in what was perhaps one of the hardest scenes she’s had to film to date. Here’s what she has to say.
Sofia took to her Twitter account to write to her fans, “I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for all your comments about little Liam’s storyline on GH. I loved the challenge of acting out this beautifully written and heartbreaking story. I’m reminded to hug everyone I love extra hard this holiday season and never take a day for granted.”
Needless to say, it didn’t take very long for her Twitter fans and followers to respond. Many of them wrote, “I went thru the gamut of emotions about this story. Why did he have to die? Why at Christmastime? How cruel is that, writers!? But then I remember art mimics life and we don’t always get a choice or that happy ending. Great acting opportunity and you aced it!” along with, “OMG I went through the same and am finally coming to terms accepting baby Liam’s death. I rejected it at first and was so upset. Maybe the writers were more brilliant than we thought as they put us all through the same emotions as Sasha from rejecting prognosis to acceptance.”
Another fan wrote, “General Hospital needs to stop with their sad stories. With that said, you were gorgeous even in Sasha’s utter despair. You encompassed all the emotions in a powerful performance that brought us right into Sasha’s grief, reduced us to a puddle of tears; broke our collective hearts.”

These writers need to understand that Nikolas and Ava are a team together ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️All I know these writers better not break these two up again if so I calling Disney/ABC and I will tell them about general hospital writers about what they doing Do Not Break Nava Up keep it up they know Disney/ABC can fired them after all they the one who fired Steve and ingo from GH keep on messing with Ava and Nikolas these writers should have these two forcus on their marriage then somebody else how else we going to Nava moving they better mess with them I will call Disney/ABC that ain’t no joke like I said Nikolas and Ava are team they are a TEAM Got it
