The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick’s Christmas Dream Helps Give Him Clarity

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Nick spends his holiday dressed up as Santa while he delivers Christmas gifts to children in need. After all of his hard work is done, Nick ends up nodding off at Crimson Lights. That’s where he ends up having a dream about his life and all of his concerns about it.

Joshua Morrow, who plays Nick on the hit CBS soap, says that this begins a “journey of reflection and to figure out what he wants in life and what it will take to do that,” adding, “Nick has a very amazing life, he loves his children, but he’s at odds with the rest of his family. The fact that his relationship with his best friend and sister, Victoria, has been harmed, really kills him.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that all of Nick’s emotional conflictions prompts him to have some meaningful conversations with some very important people in his life, including his mother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and his ex Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). In fact, Phyllis even comes over to see him.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Nick Newman?

Joshua continues, “Obviously, their split was tough on him and it didn’t come at a great time. He broke up with this woman who he loves, and he doesn’t have Victoria, so he’s a mess right now and he’s searching. There are some great scenes with Rey and Rory, where they really crush it. Any scenes I get to do with my television children are always incredible, so I really like this episode and I think the audience will find it fun and moving.”
