The Young and The Restless Alum Justin Hartley Gushes About Wife Sofia Pernas: ‘Madly in Love’

The Young and the Restless news says it’s a match man in soap opera heaven. Y&R alum Justin Hartley (ex-Adam Newman) couldn’t help but gush about his bride Sofia Pernas (ex-Marissa Sierras), who he met on the set of the show, but didn’t fall in love with until much later. Apparently, married life is treating the soap stars very well. Here’s what you need to know.

After his divroce from Chrishell Stause (ex-Jordan Ridgeway, Days of Our Lives), Justin to put the past behind him and begin a new relationship with his former co-star Sofia Pernas, whom he was caught getting very up close and personal with during the lockdown period in early 2020. A close source to the situation shares that “the couple had an instant chemistry and early on discussed marriage.”

Speaking to ET Online, Justin had nothing but wonderful things to say about the love of his life. He shared, “She’s wonderful. She’s the sweetest, smartest, most beautiful woman I’ve ever met. She’s incredible and I’m madly in love. We’re terrifically happy.”

Justin also said that he and Sofia plan on having a ‘Friendsgiving’-type celebration for Christmas this year.

The Young and The Restless Alum Justin Is So In Love!

“We celebrated our first Christmas last Christmas, so this will be our second one,” he revealed. “I sort of thought we’d be out of this pandemic, but we’re not out of it quite yet.”

The handsome actor continued, “We stay home and we hang out with my daughter, and friends come over if they want to come over. We do a Christmas-friendsgiving kind of thing.”

Back in August, Justin shared a slideshow of photos of the two of them together, which is quite uncharacteristic for the usually private actor. “Happy Birthday to my beautiful Sofia! This amazing woman makes me laugh out loud every single day,” he wrote. “Here’s to taking down oysters all over the world! I love you very much!”
