The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) confessed to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Even though Taylor admits still not being able to let go of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), that doesn’t mean she would take him back. Allen teased that she’s not going to fix Ridge as Taylor has “been there, done that.”
B&B spoilers reveal that Steffy was surprised when she spun around and found her mother standing in her house. Taylor and Steffy shared a heartwarming reunion and had the chance to talk a bit. Taylor admitted that even after all these years, she can’t seem to get past Ridge. Steffy told her mother that it’s because she thought Ridge was the love of her life.
So, Taylor clearly still has feelings for Ridge, which is making some fans think they might reunite. However, that might not happen.
In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, Allen discussed Taylor’s return to Los Angeles. The actress explained that work wasn’t the only thing that kept her away all this time. Allen told the publication that Taylor is already aware that there are problems in Ridge and Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) marriage.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Ridge celebrates Taylor’s return with Steffy and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Taylor is also thrilled to see her ex-husband, but that doesn’t mean she is willing to take him back. In fact, Allen suggested that she’s not there to fix Ridge as she’s already “been there, done that.”
“She wants Ridge to be happy because she cares deeply for him. Yet Brooke often brings unfair frustrations onto Ridge. But Ridge is not Taylor’s problem to fix. Been there, done that.”
Allen also said that Taylor isn’t there to take Ridge back or try to rekindle what they once had. Taylor is there as a friend, though.
“All Taylor wants to do is be a good listener and because it’s Taylor, she respects that he is committed to Brooke… she is taking the friend zone approach with a graceful clumsiness that only a shunned ex-wife who is pushing down her feelings could!”
However, while Taylor might try to shove down her feelings, that doesn’t mean they won’t bubble up to the surface. Could Ridge and Taylor rekindle their romance despite their best intentions to keep it platonic? We will have to keep watching the CBS soap to find out.
