The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Taylor’s Sacrifice, Fixes Ridge and Brooke’s Marriage

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) is still in love with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). However, she isn’t going to take advantage of the problems in Ridge and Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) marriage. In fact, it sounds as if Taylor might help fix “Bridge.” The actress explained why in an interview.

Still in Love with Ridge Forrester

B&B spoilers reveal that Taylor still hasn’t gotten over Ridge. Even though it’s been several years, Taylor can’t seem to get past her feelings for Ridge. This is part of the reason why Taylor made a point to stay away from Los Angeles. Even though there were times when Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) really needed their mother, Taylor couldn’t bring herself to come back.

Even though Taylor has finally returned, it’s due to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), which is an emergency situation.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Respecting ‘Bridge’

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, Allen explained that Taylor will shove down her feelings for Ridge. Despite her still being in love with him, Taylor understands that he is married to and committed to Brooke. Taylor is the type of woman that respects other people’s marriages. However, Brooke isn’t like Taylor and immediately views Ridge’s ex returning as a threat.

Understanding Love vs Being in Love

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that there is another reason why Taylor doesn’t move in on Ridge. Even though she is still in love with Ridge, she knows in her heart that he’s not in love with her.

“… she respects that he is committed to Brooke… although she would be thrilled to have her family back fully, she is taking the friend zone approach with a graceful clumsiness that only a shunned ex-wife who is could! They do love each other, but there is a difference between loving someone and being in love. The difference here is that Taylor has never fallen out of love with Ridge, but he is not in love with her.”

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Focused on Family

Even though Taylor is still having a hard time moving on from Ridge, she will put all her energy into Thomas and Steffy. Thomas and Taylor got very close while she was helping him deal with his fixation on Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle). That happened off-screen and Taylor managed to be successful as Thomas is sincerely trying to find love with someone else.

Regarding Ridge, Taylor will listen to him as he opens up about Brooke, Hope and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). However, Taylor’s interest is only as a friend to Ridge. Taylor will genuinely try to help him figure things out. It’s possible that Taylor will sacrifice who she really wants and fix “Bridge.” However, there must be love in Taylor’s future. Who could make her forget all about Ridge Forrester?
