The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is back home in Genoa City, but if she’s expecting a happy homecoming with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), she might not get one. Although she wants to clear the air with him, she soon realizes that the two of them are on different pages when it comes to their futures. Keep reading below for all of the latest spoilers.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that after all of the craziness that happened before Chelsea left, things are certainly awkward, if not also tense between them. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Mark Grossman, who plays Adam on the hit CBS soap, offers, “Since Adam has already given Chelsea his penthouse to live in, she asks how he and Connor living at the ranch has been going. Adam says it’s been good for Connor to be around family, plus Faith is giving him riding lessons. But then Chelsea asks about Sharon living close by and it gets weird again. He tells her that he’s hardly seen Sharon.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that while Adam certainly wants the best for Chelsea, he doesn’t know if he wants to go back to the way things were between them before she left. In fact, he doesn’t think it’s a good idea that they get back together at all, but Chelsea seems to think otherwise. Sure, she might be happier and healthier than she was before, but is the crazy in her still there? That’s what Adam seems to be afraid of.
Mark continues, “She’s not letting this go, so it’s just another thing that Adam will have to juggle and manage. He does know that he has to be as gentle as possible because he’s not really sure of her emotional state.”
