The Bold and the Beautiful star Tanner Novlan (Dr. John Finnegan) has a message for The Young and the Restless star Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman): he wants to meet him, and STAT, too! The handsome actor recently opened up about which daytime actor he would love to meet the most and interestingly enough, it was someone that his mother had also admired for many years, too. Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, when asked what daytime television star from another soap he would love to meet the most, Tanner said, “I would like to meet – and this is more for my mom because she’s such a fan of The Young and the Restless, too – Joshua Morrow, who plays Nick. I’ve seen him on the show my whole life and it’d be really fun to meet him. I haven’t seen him in the hallway yet, but I’m hoping it will happen.”
With that said, there’s no doubt that fans would love to see another crossover between sister soaps The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful. Seeing both Tanner and Joshua in the same scene together would not only make Tanner’s mother proud, but it would also send soap ratings through the roof again!
Interestingly enough, Tanner’s B&B co-star Heather Tom also opened up about what soap actor she would love to meet in real life, too. While Tanner would like to spend some time in Genoa City, Heather is off to Port Charles.
The actress said, “I actually just met Genie Francis [Laura Spencer] at the ladies’ lunch for the Daytime Emmys which I hosted and she was so delightful. I would love to work with her.”
Do you hear that General Hospital producers? Get Heather on the show, or at least put her behind the camera as we know she absolutely loves to direct, too! Give her a ring! That, and we also need to see Tanner and Joshua spend some much-needed quality time in front of a camera, too!
