Chrishell Stause Responds To The Young And The Restless Alums Justin Hartley And Sofia Pernas’ Marriage

The Young and the Restless alums Justin Hartley (ex-Adam Newman) and Sofia Pernas (Marisa Sierras) secretly tied the knot earlier this year and how the actor’s ex-wife Chrishell Stause is sharing her thoughts about the matter. As many fans can recall, Justin pulled the plug on his marriage to the former Days of Our Lives star back in November of 2019 and began his relationship with Sofia sometime during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. And now Chrishell has a few thoughts to share about it.

In her Netflix series, Selling Sunset Season 4, Chrishell made it pretty clear that she’s gotten the kind of closure that she was looking for her after her marriage to Justin. While speaking to her co-stars Mary Fitzgerald and Heather Rae Young, she put it this way, “My ex-husband Justin is remarried to someone I know from back in the day, pretty well, and a lot of things made sense after finding that out.”

She then added, “I wish them the best. You know, I think that it actually, if anything, it felt good to know that. It felt like a little bit of closure.”

Both Justin and Sofia were on The Young and the Restless back in 2015. Chrishell also had a brief role on the show as Bethany Bryant. And while Justin has kept very quiet about his divorce from Chrishell and of course, his new relationship and marriage to Sofia, the reality star also made a point to say that she’s in a much better place in her life, both personally and professionally, than she was while still married to Justin.

Chrishell explained, “Honestly, I’ve never been in a better place in my career. I really feel empowered of being a different, a better version of myself than I ever have been, and I feel like I found my voice. ​​I mean, if he wants to have 50 wives, like, go live your best life because I really feel like I am. Once you know something wasn’t right, whether it was your decision or not, it’s like, now… out with the old, in with the new.”

Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas tied to knot back in May 2021. He was also previously married to daytime television star Lindsay Hartley. The ex-couple share a teenaged daughter together named Isabella.
