The Bold and the Beautiful star Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan) recently gave a little insight into what’s ahead for her on-screen persona. After learning that Donna was the reason Eric overcame his ED, things just haven’t been the same. Keep reading below for all of the latest spoilers.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Gareis opened up about the possibility of having Donna back together again with Eric Forrester. She put it this way to the publication, “It was bittersweet, but as much as Donna had gotten her hopes up, she just wants Eric to be happy, and I really love that about her.”
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that while there’s no doubt that Donna could have easily had a lawsuit on her hands after her confrontation with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer), deep down inside she knows it’s important to move forward, both for her sake and Eric’s sake, too.
Gareis put it this way, “She is taking the high road. Donna is protecting Eric because she loves him. He never fired her. Donna agreed to leave. She’s just trying to keep her head up in a difficult situation, and I think she did a good job. She stopped Eric from doing the unthinkable. She knows he didn’t really think it through. He’s just so bullied by Quinn and once again, Donna protects him from being put in a bad position.”
With that said though, Gareis added that it will be tough for Donna knowing that she won’t be a part of Forrester Creations any longer, despite all of the years of hard work she’s put in for the fashion empire. The actress also said it’s going to be a long road ahead for her on-screen character. Gareis added, “She isn’t just losing Eric to Quinn, but she’s losing her best frenemy in Pammy, and seeing her sisters every day. That has become her life, and it’s all taken away because of these two incidents.”
While there’s no doubt that it’s going to be a difficult holiday season for Donna, especially with all of the changes to both her personal and professional lives, The Bold and the Beautiful fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next. I don't care for Donna and how her and her sister thinks that it is alright for who to go after a married man. Who sits around for years hoping a married man will come back to them. It is really unrealistic.
