The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Dr. John Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) life has been turned upside down and that it’s going to be very difficult for him to deal with the bitter pill that is the truth. Finn takes it pretty hard when he finds out that Jack Finnegan (Ted King) is indeed his biological father. Even though Finn had a very solid and supportive childhood while growing up, he believes that the truth could have come out a whole lot sooner, as it would have spared him a life full of questions about his past, his present, and of course, his future. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Finn is having a hard time coming to terms that his father Jack was a liar and a manipulator this entire time. Of course, it doesn’t help the situation that it was Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) who urged Jack to come out with the truth, as both Finn and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) have no reason to trust her. Tanner Novlan, who plays Finn on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way to Soap Opera Digest, “He doesn’t know if Jack would have ever come forward if Sheila hadn’t pried a little bit, and that ultimately is good for Finn to know.”
However, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Jack’s admission and what’s next for his family remains to be seen. After all, Finn has every reason never to speak to him again, for better or for worse.
Novlan adds, “This cut deep. Obviously, this didn’t score him any points with Steffy. Finn doesn’t know who he is anymore because he’s been lied to this long. Yes, there were great times and great things between father and son, but looking back, Finn can’t help but think, ‘Was that just manipulations and covering up and making sure a secret stays a secret?’”
In other words, Finn might just have lost the one person who was close to him this entire time, but he just didn’t know it. Is there room for Jack back in his life again? Of course, B&B fans will have to tune in this week to find out!
