Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) has been through quite a lot in the past year. After giving birth to a healthy baby, Allie revealed that her pregnancy was the result of rape. She was certain that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Dalton) was the guilty party. Eventually, Allie’s memories of that night returned and the real rapist was Tripp’s half-brother, Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning). If that wasn’t complicated enough, Allie and Tripp got past all of that and tentatively began a romance.
Although it was awkward in the beginning, Allie and Tripp worked through all of that and began to get closer and closer. But once Allie’s old friend, Chanel Dupris (Raven Bowens) arrived in town, things began to become more complicated. Allie found herself kissing Chanel. And although Allie said it didn’t mean anything, it’s still be a kind of roadblock for any romance between Allie and Tripp!
Getting more than mixed signals from Allie, Chanel found herself interested in someone new. Unfortunately, her choice in suitors is Allie’s twin brother, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). Needless to say, Allie wasn’t happy about that development. She tried to convince Chanel that Johnny was player and would only hurt her. This didn’t go unnoticed by Tripp.
With Allie unable to tell Tripp that she loves him, that will lead Tripp to wonder why. Was her kiss with Chanel more than just a kiss? Tripp will begin to wonder if Allie doesn’t care for her business partner more than she has admitted. Or perhaps its just too awkward given their history. No matter what the reason, Allie and Tripp will need to have a serious chat about their future, even if it means that they don’t have one!
Do Allie and Tripp have a future together? Or is their history too much to get past? Could Chanel have stolen Allie’s heart, even if she hasn’t admitted it to herself? Let Allie and Tripp have a relationship, So not into the Lesbian relationship. I like this Chanel better but I wish she and her mother would leave town. Not keen on Marlena being possessed seems a little silly.
